Representation matters!

A culturally competent therapist is important all the time, but especially when it comes to working with teenagers.

It won't happen overnight, but creating safe spaces for teens to get help will make a world of difference.

There can unfortunately be a lot of shame and judgment in religious spaces.

It can be hard when people you've come to know and love aren't willing to understand what you went through.

However, it does not make your pain any less valid.

Church hurt
